What BRODY is
BRODY is a companion and awareness tool. It chats with a parent, reminds them of routines, helps them check suspicious messages, and keeps their trustees informed. It is not a medical device, a medical service, a diagnosis tool, or an emergency service.
In an emergency
Call 911 or your local emergency number. BRODY can send alerts, but alerts can be delayed or fail (a phone may be off, offline or out of battery). Never rely on BRODY as the only way to get help.
Scam checks
The scam shield looks for common warning signs. It can miss a scam and can flag a safe message. It never proves a message is safe. Be careful with money, codes and personal details.
Who it is for
- The lead trustee must be an adult, and must have the parent's agreement to use BRODY for them.
- The parent can pause or stop monitoring at any time, and sharing is off until it is turned on.
- Trustees must not use BRODY to spy on, control or harass anyone.
Your account
Keep your password and the parent's link private. Anyone with the link can use the parent's page. Ask for a new link if it is lost; making a new one cancels the old one.
AI replies
Replies come from an AI model and can be wrong. They are not medical, legal or financial advice. BRODY is built not to diagnose, to avoid medicine instructions, and to point people to emergency help.
Changes and ending
You can delete a parent or your account at any time. We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes.
Liability
BRODY is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits rights you have under Canadian consumer law.
